Our Beginning

In 2012, a family-owned business was established, driven by a passion for preserving traditional Chinese wedding customs in Malaysia. Our founder, Madam Wong, aimed to protect and share these significant traditions, leading to the opening of a humble shop at Sunway Giza Mall that specializes in custom-made and rental Qun Kwa, along with a selling of wedding merchandise. The business was named LIANG YUAN (良缘), which translates to "opportune connection". This name effectively reflects our commitment to connecting couples with the beauty and tradition of Chinese weddings.

Our Journey of Expansion

In 2017, LIANG YUAN (良缘) relocating to a spacious double-story store at Jalan Kuching, Kuala Lumpur. With over hundreds of costumes and a diverse selection of traditional products, we have established ourselves as one of the largest comprehensive one-stop havens for Chinese weddings providing couples with an immersive experience steeped in heritage.

A Shift in Perspective: The Rise of Chinese Fashion

While our commitment to traditional wedding customs remained steadfast, a deeper passion for Chinese fashion, particularly the timeless elegance of Qipao, started to emerge. Recognizing this shift in perspective, we made a decision to realign our focus and embrace this newfound passion. In 2025, as part of our rebranding strategy, we bid farewell to our wedding merchandise and honed our attention on the exquisite artistry of Qun Kua and Qipao. Our new direction allowed us to channel our creativity and expertise into these two iconic symbols of Chinese art and culture, offering an exclusive, refined experience for our clients.
